I like to write stories. Colorful, heavy, deep, sharp, short and long ones.

 

I am thrilled when others are touched by it. A little miracle! And I am continually fascinated by the creative process until a piece is finished.

In my writing I address the big questions that bother me, the small encounters that stick with me and the things that make me angry.

 

Sometimes I stand between cultures and languages. My name reflects that: Hanan (حنان) means "compassionate love" in Arabic.
